- Care Pals | Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church
Care Pals Ministry Care Pals' Mission is to show the love of God through caring, laughter and devotion to others. Our volunteers do that through our weekly crafting groups at Where The Heart Is located in Burlington, Washington. This facility is an assisted and memory care home for over 80 residents. We have been providing weekly visits for close to 10 years. Our time together is spent doing crafts, singing, serving refreshment and celebrating each other by sharing stories. We as volunteers are truly blessed to be able to meet these wonderful people and share our love of God. The Care Pals team hold their Care Pal friends in prayer, share activities, laughter and companionship. Covid 19 changed how things are done but not the caring for each other. Contact the church office to find out how to become a Care Pals Volunteer!
