MVPC Worship and Music Ministries ​ The MVPC Music Team leads us in worship every Sunday morning. If you have a heart for God and for music, please consider getting involved with one of our wonderful groups. The Worship Team provides a meaningful worship service, blending traditional and contemporary music with prayer, scripture, and message. Latest Sermons. ​ Chancel Choir practices Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30. Glorify Praise Band rehearses Sunday mornings. Nepal Missions MVPC has a long standing relationship ​with Nepal as two of our members spent 24 years serving in Nepal as medical missionaries. MVPC sent a team of members to learn and continue to build relationships with ministries in Nepal in 2013. ​ We pray for and financially support the following missions in Nepal: ​ Medical Assistance Fund, United Mission Hospital , Tansen Nepal New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center Women's Protection Center Safe Home

MVPC Children, Youth, and Family Ministries ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ 2023-2024 Children, Youth, and Family Ministries Program Year ​ Questions? Please contact Pastor Rebecca Holland, Associate Pastor of Discipleship at MVPC ​ Godly Play Kid's Ministry Program on most Sundays during worship (Kicks off in September!) Elementary aged kids are invited to begin in the Worship Service before being invited during the Prayers of the People to head to the Godly Play Program where we share, wonder, and engage in our faith through storytelling and creative reflection. ​ Nursery and Play Room on Sundays from 10 am to Noon Infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary kids are welcome to come and play with our Nursery and Play Room Team on Sunday mornings while their adults enjoy worship. ​ Sunday Worship at 10:30 am (and MVPC Nursery for Infants, Toddlers, and Young Children) Families of all ages are invited to participate in Sunday Worship at 10:30 am In Person or on Zoom. Gather where your whole family will be comfortable. Allow your youth and kids to color or draw while they listen and participate in worship. Encourage them to ask you questions, wonder, and talk about what they noticed in the worship service. It's a great time to connect and help your kids grow in their faith! For those of you coming to In Person Worship, the kids and youth are welcome to use one of the worship activity bags. MVPC welcomes the joyful noises of families worshiping together either in the Sanctuary or, if your family prefers, in the Fireside room where there is more room to run around with comfortable couches. ​ Youth Group on most Sundays from Noon to 1:30 pm (Kicks off in September) Youth in Middle School and High School are invited to be a part of the MVPC Youth Group that meets most Sundays after worship for a time of food, fellowship, and faith. Please RSVP with Pastor Rebecca so we have food for everyone. ​ MOPs Ministry to Moms from 9:30 to 11:30 am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays (Kicks off in September) Moms are invited to connect with other moms and mentor moms through a program of faith, food, and fellowship while their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers enjoy their own Mops Kid's Program and play time. It's a wonderful time for everyone! ​ Family Small Group 1st and 3rd Sundays from 5 to 6:30 pm (Kicks off in September) Families gather for a potluck and fellowship in homes or for a bring your own picnic at a park. Care Pals Ministry Care Pals' Mission is to show the love of God through caring, laughter and devotion to others. Our volunteers do that through our weekly crafting groups at Where The Heart Is located in Burlington, Washington. This facility is an assisted and memory care home for over 80 residents. We have been providing weekly visits for close to 10 years. Our time together is spent doing crafts, singing, serving refreshment and celebrating each other by sharing stories. We as volunteers are truly blessed to be able to meet these wonderful people and share our love of God. ​ The Care Pals team hold their Care Pal friends in prayer, share activities, laughter and companionship. Covid 19 has changed how things are done but not the caring for each other. ​ Contact the church office to find out how to become a Care Pals Volunteer!
