FAMILY PROMISE

​There are over 1,000 children in Skagit Valley who are homeless. The mission of Family Promise is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence together.  Family Promise seeks to accomplish this mission through Host and Support congregations, a Day Center, Transitional Housing, Transportation, Social Service Agencies and Volunteers.  

 

It takes a lot of volunteers to host the families.  Please contact the church office if you are interested in volunteering by bringing in a meal or serving as an overnight host.  Thank you to all who have helped host the rotating shelter for families at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.

Night Without A Bed formerly (Homeless for a Night) is a fundraising event held in the fall each year for the programs of Family Promise.
