Email Us We are looking for a Youth Director to help us nurture middle and high school youth on their faith journey by coordinating and training volunteers from the congregation to engage with the youth as Mentors, Sunday School Teachers, and Youth Group Advisors. Our hope is to build a culture that nurtures great relationships between youth, the church, and Jesus Christ. Two extremely helpful books have guided our youth ministry discernment process: Youth Ministry in the 21st Century edited by Chap Clark and Contemplative Youth Ministry by Mark Yaconelli. MVPC Prayer Groups The Pause Prayer group meets Thursdays at 9:00 am in Zoom Room 1. There is an email prayer chain as well. Please call the church office , 360-424-7675, or Pastor Dan if you or someone you know is in need of prayer. ​

FRIENDSHIP HOUSE CAFE ​ During Covid 19, we continued to support Friendship House financially. A volunteer team is again back at Friendship House to cook a meal. ​ ​The Friendship House Cafe is the only no-cost daily meal service in Skagit County, serving sack lunches and dinner 365 days a year, to anyone who is hungry. A Team of MVPC volu nteers preps and cooks a delicious meal on the second Tuesday of the month. Please contact the church office if you are interested in being a part of this amazing ministry.
