    Terms of Use MVPC Terms of Use for member pages ​ Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church (“MVPC”) owns and operates this website. Use of this website constitutes acceptance of the terms set out below. If the following terms are not acceptable, or if you do not meet the qualifications set out below, use of this website for the purposes set out below is not authorized. MVPC accepts no liability for the services offered below. MVPC desires its members and friends to develop and maintain authentic friendships which foster mutual aid. If MVPC facilitates communication between its members and friends, and does that which a reasonable person would do, under the same, or similar circumstances, there is no negligence attributable to MVPC from the personal choices of members or friends who are competent adults. The Bulletin Board is limited to members or friends of the church 18 years of age or older without medical or mental health conditions which impair their capacity to consent to ride arrangements or other activities posted on the bulletin board. To offer a ride one must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and have adequate personal insurance covering potential injuries to passengers. During the Covid-19 crisis, masking, social distancing and sanitation protocols must be in place during any such activities. Misuse of the bulletin board or information posted to the members/friends page by any member/friend of the Church will result in that individual being immediately barred by MVPC, without recourse, from access to the member pages. MVPC reserves the right to modify these terms from time to time, in its sole discretion. Therefore, you should review this page periodically. When MVPC changes the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

  • Covid-19 Updates | Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church

    Church in the Age of Covid-19 Masking at Mount Vernon Presbyterian ​ When the level is Green (low community risk): The MVPC Covid Task Force recommends wearing masks if it makes you more comfortable to do so. When the level is Yellow (medium community risk): The MVPC Covid Task Force recommends wearing a mask while in groups in the church building. When the level is Orange (high community risk): Per CDC guidelines masks will be required when there is high community risk. MVPC Recommends vaccination, which continues to be the best defense against Covid-19. Please get tested if you have any Covid-19 symptoms. The MVPC Covid Task Force recommends wearing masks while singing in groups and while preparing food to reduce the possibility of transmission before infection is known. Covid Report
